5. A River Enchanted

I liked this one. Enchanted Irish island, engrossing plot. Ending was not satisfactory, but maybe setting up for a sequel? I’d read it.

3. The LiviNg Waters

Fun read, meditation fantasy in an ecologically interesting world. It was advertised as no death or gore and I appreciated knowing that. I’ll probably read the second one.

49. The Dispossessed

I thought I would like this one more. I’m personally not a fan of books that spend a lot of time explaining sci/fi physics. Loved the idea of utopia though.

48. The Elementals

I don’t usually read horror but this was great. Creepy, well written, all around a good book.

40. The Ex Hex

Some easy reading. Fine, though the main characters spend a lot of time doing nothing. Town could be destroyed, better go have a nap and we’ll make a plan later!

38. Going Driftless

Interesting short vignettes about people and places in the upper Mississippi area called “Driftless”. I learned Honey crisp apples were invented by the university of Minnesota and don’t taste good unless they’re grown in this region.

37. Bringing up bebe

She was kinda judgey tbh. And half of it was irrelevant as a parenting book as we don’t have free government daycare from age 2 on.

36. Happiest Baby on the block

Could have been an article tbh. So much filler.
Some parts were def not ageing well and probably didn’t need to spend so much time convincing me that I should try things to stop a baby from crying. No one wants that.
